The small print, kept short.

If something is wrong with your beef, tell us within seven days and we will replace it or refund it. Keep the pack and the label; a photo is enough. We have never argued about a bad pack and we are not going to start.

Frozen food cannot be returned once it has left the farm, for the obvious reason. If you ordered the wrong thing, phone before Wednesday noon and we will change the order before it is packed.

If you miss your pickup slot, your order stays in the walk-in for two weeks. After that we restock it and refund you minus a $25 handling fee. Boxes (quarter, eighth, half) are made to order; a cancellation after the animal has gone to the butcher is refunded minus the deposit.

We keep your name, phone number, email, delivery address and order history, because we need them to get beef to you and to tell you when the next lot is ready. We do not sell or share the list with anyone.

Payment details are handled by the payment processor and never reach us. The site sets one small item in your browser's local storage to remember your cart and your light or dark choice. There is no tracking and no advertising pixel.

Ask any time and we will send you what we hold on you, or delete it. Phone or write to the address on the order confirmation.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and include no tax; taxes, where they apply, are calculated at checkout. Box prices are per box, not per pound. Weights quoted are approximate and are given so you can plan freezer space, not as a guarantee.

Orders received by Tuesday 21:00 are packed that week. A half beef is reserved with a $500 deposit, with the balance due at pickup. Delivery requires a $150 minimum order and is available only in the zones listed on the pickup and delivery page.

Once a frozen order is handed over, keeping it frozen is your responsibility. We package for about six hours in a warm car; longer than that, bring a cooler.
