Pickup and delivery
Two days at the gate, one day on the road.
Everything leaves the farm frozen solid. You can collect it at the gate on Thursday or Saturday, or we bring it to you on Friday if you live in one of four zones around Kamloops.
Farm pickup
Thursdays and Saturdays, no minimum.
The gate is on Lac Le Jeune Road, about twenty minutes south of the city. Exact directions and a pin come with your order confirmation. Pull in by the red shop, honk once if nobody is out, and your order comes out of the walk-in.
Choose a slot in the cart. Slots are an hour wide and they are there so we are not loading four cars at once; if you are running late, phone and we will keep your box on ice.

Local delivery
Fridays, four zones, $150 minimum.
We run one truck on Fridays between noon and six. The fee depends on your zone and it drops to nothing on orders over $300 in the two Kamloops zones.

How it is packed
Frozen on Wednesday, still frozen when you open it.
Beef that thaws and refreezes loses juice and texture. The whole point of the schedule is that nothing sits around.
Pulled from the walk-in the day before
Each order is counted against the invoice and the lot number is written on the box.
Insulated liner and ice packs
Cardboard box, foil-bubble liner, two or four ice packs depending on the size. Good for six hours in a warm car.
Delivered from a freezer, not a fridge
The delivery truck runs a plug-in chest freezer, so the last stop gets the same product as the first.
Into your freezer within the hour
Vacuum packs keep a year. Paper-wrapped cuts are best inside six months. The liner and ice packs can come back to us next time.

Next cutoff: Tuesday 21:00. Orders after that go out the following week: pickup Thursday or Saturday, delivery Friday.
